Tekst in het Nederlands aan het eind. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ To the users of the BIPT’s “propagation” app: On Thursday 5 October 2023, the spectrum supervision system WSS (Wide Spectrum Survey) in Ophain (formerly CCRM), on which the propagation supervision app relies has been shut down. This shutdown will last several weeks, until we replace our old mast which, as time went by (as it was built in 1965), no longer meets the load and safety standards in force. A new mast of the same height (60 metres) will be placed very soon and most of the antennas will be moved, while others will be replaced. Systems and equipment will be moved from the old CCRM building to an air-conditioned cabin built up against the new mast. As a result, we are temporarily no longer able to send our “propagation warnings”. We are planning to bring back into service all or part of our equipment by January 2024. The BIPT Technical Cell ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Aux utilisateurs de l’application “propagation” de l’IBPT : Le jeudi 5 octobre 2023, le système de surveillance du spectre WSS (Wide Spectrum Survey) à Ophain (ex CCRM) dont dépend l’application de surveillance de la propagation a été mis à l’arrêt. Cet arrêt durera plusieurs semaines le temps pour nous de remplacer notre vieux pylône qui, avec le temps (puisque bâti en 1965) ne répond plus aux normes de charge et de sécurité en vigueur. Un nouveau pylône de même hauteur (60 mètres) va être placé très prochainement et les antennes déplacées pour la plupart, remplacées pour d’autres. Les systèmes et équipements seront déplacés de l’ancien bâtiment du CCRM vers une cabine climatisée adossée au nouveau pylône. Par conséquent, nous ne sommes plus en mesure momentanément de diffuser nos « propagations warnings ». Nous planifions la remise en service de tout ou partie de nos équipements pour janvier 2024. IBPT Cellule technique ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Aan de gebruikers van de "propagatietoepassing” van het BIPT: Op donderdag 5 oktober 2023 is het systeem voor spectrummonitoring WSS (Wide Spectrum Survey) in Ophain (voordien CCRM) stilgelegd. De toepassing voor propagatiemonitoring hangt daar van af. Deze uitschakeling zal enkele weken duren, de tijd voor ons om onze oude mast te vervangen die, met de tijd (sinds de bouw in 1965), niet meer voldoet aan de geldende belastings- en veiligheidsnormen. Een nieuwe mast van dezelfde hoogte (60 meter) zal zeer binnenkort worden geplaatst en de antennes zullen voor het grootste deel worden verplaatst, andere zullen worden vervangen. De systemen en apparatuur zullen worden verplaatst van het oude CCRM-gebouw naar een cabine met airconditioning naast de nieuwe mast. Als gevolg daarvan kunnen wij tijdelijk onze "propagations warnings" niet meer versturen. We zijn van plan om onze apparatuur of een deel daarvan uiterlijk in januari 2024 weer in gebruik te nemen.
